Born and raised in western Quebec, I grew up in a rural bilingual community on the Gatineau river. I cultivated a love for the outdoors from a young age that continues today. Before moving to British Columbia in 2012, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and History at Concordia University in Montreal, where I lived for eight formative years. I am fortunate enough to have traveled to over 40 countries and have had countless adventures abroad. These experiences have shaped who I am today: I have developed a global perspective and appreciation for other cultures; my Spanish is excelente; I take nothing for granted and strive to make a positive impact on the world.
Professionally, I have worn many hats, starting with the hospitality industry. I have worked just about all front-of-house positions from serving and bartending to catering and event planning—to name a few. More recently, I’ve taught English as a Second Language, both in language schools and as a private tutor. I’ve worked with people from all walks of life and consider empathy, communication and organization my cornerstones to success. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and a continuous need to learn, grow and hustle.
I am now settled down with my husband and young daughter in Esquimalt, Victoria—a place that I cherish deeply. This community has allowed me to plant roots and finally feel a true sense of home after so much wanderlust. I enjoy swimming, running, yoga, gardening and camping. In my free time, I am usually with family and friends at a local beach, park or restaurant.
